I want to buy Poser 4 or whatever is the newest version. I'd like to buy directly from US (I'm from europe) since prices are better. Amazon is selling at $99.99 buy it's available for US destinations only (grrr!). So where can I buy (www site) Poser? Unfortunately local prices are way inflated and product is non-existent (here in Finland). What is it with amazon that they don't want money from europe??

You might try E-Bay, but only at your own risk. Otherwise, I don't know. I got mine from Meta Creations, who I think was using Amazon, but maybe not, I really can't remember since it's been like 9 months since then. I don't know if Zygote sells it, but you might try: http://www.zygote.com Although if they are selling it, it's probably not any better of a deal than CL's price, :( Why so expensive anyway? Foreign exchange rates or import taxes? Mine was only like $200-something, U.S. I wish you luck. I'm really surprised that you can't get it over there anywhere, what with its' immense popularity and all. However there are alot of European members here, so hopefully someone else will have some better info for you. I should have said that was for US buyers. You might want to e-mail them about sales to Finland. Another company would have distribution rights for that part of the world. They would know where to get it at the best price.

You could also send the money to a friend in the US, who could buy it for you and send it to you. I'm assuming you already have P3 and are hoping to upgrade to 4, thus the $99 price you quoted. Melanie

Microwarehouse is a big mail-order company in the US. They list Poser 4 in their catalog for US$229, and it should be at their web site (www.warehouse.com). I have used them many times, and have gotten good service from them. They have an office in the Netherlands that may well be able to help. Their phone number in the Netherlands is 020.355.1600. I live in the UK and bought my Poser4 from a US dealer through Ebay. Recieved it no problem and even with shipping and import tax the full version cost me only US$170.00. I think the company trade under the name of "ppinnj" or something like that. They accept payment by Visa which gives you some protection as well as that offered by Ebay and were listing multiple lots of this software. Best of luck, Martin
