I've always dreamt of playing a round of Golf on the Old course at St. Andrews. Then I thought, why not shoot for the moon. Here's a golf course on a terraformed Titan in the year 2162. (Why 2162? It'll be 200 years after my birth, and my great-great grandchildren can bring my pickled body there for a round. I would love some C&C. Don't be afraid to be critical. I got a thick skin.

Very nice work indeed, especially for your first Bryce scene! You whippersnappers don't know how easy you got it. When we first colonists landed on Xanadu(the main land-mass),we had to play some REAL hazards, like pools of liquid methane! Even if you could retrieve your ball, it would shatter into a million pieces the next time you hit it!

Sorry, allow me to rephrase. This is the first Bryce scene I'm ready to post. I've got about a half dozen in progress and about a half dozen more I've given up on or tossed because of lousy concepts that go no where. This is the first scene that's come close to being finished. lol @ danamo When playing from right to left, Saturn's gravity gives you a mean slice. ;-)

Pretty scene! Titan finally gets the recognition it deserves! I like the almost Frogdot-like style you use too.

Frogdot is a Brycer with a very distinctive style and a great sense of humor. You should check out his gallery here, Bandolin. He's also a Bryce mod at 3D Commune.

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Visited Frogdot's gallery. Very creative. Very different. This scene is actually all the techniques used in the first tutorial in the Bryce manual. Plus a few things I learned here in the forum. I'm still not happy with the lighting. Its a little boring. Also the water could use more varied reflections. I'd like to try to achieve this all in Bryce with no post work. But my patience with this particular scene is coming to an end.

Damn! And I wondered where my ball went to! Bloody huge water hazard! But then... we talking of no gravity..one whack with a 7 iron will send that ball flying long!! Titliest came up with special clubs by then, right? You know..grazing that grey material will hurt earth clubs!! I don't think we'll have divots, right? Hate your bunker near the hole.. pitch to the left out of it into the rough then chip to the green?? Too steep to pitch out straight into the green... Fairway made out of both grey and green? Par 5 hole? or 6? As to your dream of playing at St Andrew's..heard this one? "The most common mistake at St.Andrew's is just turning up." - Mark James ;-) ;-)
