I keep thinking maybe it is time to invest in a dslr but the market changes so quick -how can anyone make a serious decision. Nikon announce 2 new DSLR's !

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

Its a race to see who can grab th market first! Canon lead the way with that new Rebel 350XT...now Nikon is following suit! I think its a good thing...MORE choices when I finally decide to invest in a DSLR!

Choose the DSLR that is right for you and feels good, what you want from it, more important, what you want it to do for you...I chose mine very carefully...no regrets...an important aspect I found. DSLRS are not that cheap...so, weight up the pro's against the cons :)...good luck in hunting :)

Well, I don't know if what I'm about to say is going to help but that's how I usually do things and it works wonders for me: the gut feeling! Go out there and take the cams u're interested in in ur hands! Feel it, touch it and u should "feel" which one is the right one for u! ;)

Good advice guys - think I'll leave my money where it is just now till the market settles down a bit ;)
