Subject: Shade LE As A Poser Renderer?

Tomsde ( ) posted Tue, 12 April 2005 at 8:20 PM ยท edited Wed, 26 February 2025 at 5:17 PM

I got the limited edition of P6 which included the free Shade LE program. How is it at rendering Poser figures. I know that P6 has unresolved rendering issues. Has anyone been rendering in Shade. Dose Poser lights inport into the Shade scene of does one have to set up new lighting as well?

Shade does a great job of rendering Poser scenes. You do have to setup the lights within Shade however. But I think you'll find the lighting fairly easy to deal with. - Noel

You need to set up new lights, IBL too if you want. You should read the tutorials at Shader's Cafe. My Backdrop tut there has a basic IBL setup to get you started. This took me less than 5 minutes to create in poser, import into Shade, and create the basic light set. 1 light and 1 simple/solid color IBL. One layer, no post. Tashar 59

@beryld: Is this Jessie?

Tashar59 ( ) posted Wed, 13 April 2005 at 3:10 AM

Thank you Lilybelles. This is V3 with, Rhiannon's Chantal Head morph and Morris's Miss April texture. I could show a Jessi render but it will be a few hours before I can do it. I should also point out that the render took some time to do. You can imagine what kind of render you could get if you put some time into the setup in Shade.

akura. Here you go. Sorry it took so long, I finally got some sleep. This is just a basic to get you going. You use the main camera that is already loaded. Hope this helps.
