Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 24 11:54 pm)
I did have a problem once, I can't recall which model it was? but it was a simply matter of how the obj item was spelled. When the error message came up, I wrote down exactly what it was looking for and them manually checked the runtime geometries folder and renamed it. I don't use P5 but it worked for me in P4.

Problems like this and related texture filename issues are why I ALWAYS run any newly installed content through Hogsoft's CorrectReference Pro. I find the little extra time spent correcting references in files and expanding texture filenames to fully qualified paths (e.g. red.gif -> :runtime:textures:artistname:objectname:red.gif) saves a lot of headaches in the longer term.Mark

Problem solved!!! The good folks at Poserworks saved the day. I would highly recommend their models and stellar support service. The 737 is way cool. I even work for the company that makes this aircraft and find the model very realistic. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. I recently purchased the Poserworks 737 Business Jet. After installing the model using the file paths provided in the zip file downloaded from the Poserworks store, I decovered that Poser Ver 5 could not find the OBJ extension files in the geometries runtime library. Everything other than the OBJ files loads correctly. I get a Poser dialog box that allows me to browse for the missing files. Once I point the Poser software to the file directory Poser will load the models. Having to find the models (interior and exterior) every time I want to use the model is a slight problem. I contacted Pam about this and got an e-mail saying she had downloaded the file and had not experienced this problem and many others had also purchased the model and not experienced the problem. Has anyone else purchased this model or had a similar problem with another model in the past? Would really like to have this work without having to search for the files every time I want to use this model.
