Subject: New base morph sets & Rhino Morphing Tutorial!

Attached Link: Morph World 2.0

Howdy all, I finally got my new monitor (My old one decided to just ignore the concept of Gamma and brightness all together) so Morph World is back in production ;) I just added two new Base morph sets (These are the morphs that let you moe, scale, rotate different parts of the Male & fem face) The two new sets are Teeth2 and Ears. Also for all of you Rhino morphers I am writing a series of Tricks tutorials. The first one is up now and shows how to work on Teeth and tounge morphs. Others will follow. If anyone has any tutorial suggestions let me know (not just Rhino, it can be anything) I am kinda morphed out (what else is left to be made?)

I also re-vamped the whole tutorials section. Adding links, cleaning things up, making everything printer friendly. The links to the old tutorials have all changed, so if you have links, they will need to be updated. -Trav

I did see a post from someone requesting an equine morph for the P4 Fem Face, if that gives you any ideas ;-)

I've considered purchasing Amorphium, if you're familiar with that program, perhaps some tutorials for that program? You know, an "Do Poser Morphing in Amorphium for Dummies" sort of thing. Liz Pope p.s. glad you got a new monitor and are back in business!

I have, but unfortunatly the conversion process is a technical one. However the new pro version of amorphium is said to not change the size of geometry at all, so basically the old tutorials will become obsolete. As soon as I get a copy of the new version I will write a tut for that. -Trav

What a great morning this has turned out to be. Got all your other tute's, now I can have another :) Thanks. This may be a stupid suggestion, but how about a tutorial covering how to edit existing P4 or Vicki clothing in Rhino? Cheers, Xena

You mean like full body morphs for clothing? I have made clothing morphs in the past in Rhino (Magnets are better for adjusting clothing IMHO) Basically it's like making any other morph. If your morph spans more then one part of the clothing, I would use the full body morphing technique. I can do a tutorial on clothing, maybe showing how to make a few different morphs. -Trav

A tut for making an open jacket in LW 5.6 would be nice :o) I have a closed jacket I just created that needs to be able to morph open. I sent you a mail about it. You get it?

Yeah, I just got my puter straightened out :) Send me the files and I will see what I can do. -Trav

We would hbe just a bunch of miserable clones without morph world:)

Files sent :o) Thanks!

A tutorial about morphs for clothing would be utterly wonderful, Traveler. And as I have said before, without your morphs, Poser would be only half a program for most of us.

Traveler ( ) posted Sun, 28 January 2001 at 6:28 AM

Thanks :) I am going to make the clothing tuts next, one for Rhino, one for Magnets. :) -Trav

Of course as usual I just assume everyone knows what I'm talking about g What I meant was actually taking poser clothes into Rhino and making a new piece of clothing out of it. Using the halter top as an example, turn it into a singlet or some such thing. I don't even know if this is possible :) But if it is, it could be a good learning system for people who want to make their own clothes. I tried creating my own clothes and gave up, and am now teamed up with a modeller. Less strain on the brain for me LOL. I do still keep reading tutorials and practising modelling little things. Anyway, just an idea. Cheers, Xena
