I am using Bryce 4 and can't get a vapor/misty/flamey/ type effect. I am making a scene with a ball in the middle and need to produce some kind of effect coming off some other balls surrounding it? I hope that is a good enough discription to help out, if not feel free to ask any question you need too.

place some spehere around the ball and put a neat volumetric materials...this should help.
