Subject: Antialias document in P6... only over black...?????

omphales ( ) posted Sun, 17 April 2005 at 5:20 AM ยท edited Sat, 01 February 2025 at 4:57 PM

I want to antialias my view in P6(not render it, only antialias...)but I want the background stays white when my document is antialiased... But when I use the antialias document option in P6 : Render / Antialias Document (Alt+CTRL+R)(as I did with P5)it seems I have no way to have an other background color than Black... Is it an other $""###~~* bug with poser, or is it me...? Or what...???

Works OK for me. Tried with various display settings and background colours. All anti aliased correctly.

Same here. Works like a charm.

ok... apparently you were right, both of you...It seems to always antialias over black background color when I use the following parameters : Display / Preview Drawing / Open GL Softaware. But it works perfectly when I choose these parameters : Display / Preview Drawing / SreeD Software... Perhaps someone can explain the reason of this... Is it impossible to antialias a document over a custom background color when using the Open GL Software ?? Nethertheless thank for your answers, guys :)

I get the same with either preview system. I can not duplicate your result. Do you have the latest OpenGL software installed?

I was using open GL as well. Not sure what SreeD is, so I don't use it :)

It's possible it's about my Open GL Software... I'd tried every thing else I could imagine about parameters... It's true I'm not sure I have the lastest version... Is it freeware ? And if it is...where can I get it...? thank you again for your help !

Depends on who your video card maker is. Mine is an Nvidia and their driver updates are free. In fact I couldn't even get Poser 6 to work in Open GL until I loaded the lasted drivers for my card from Nvidia.
