Subject: Help! My icons have gone...

I'm not sure how this has happened but all the icons in my libraries have now become blank, just a series of grey lines where the icons used to be. I am using Poser 4 with Pro pack, I have not installed any new programs since last using Poser. I have checked the files and the .png's had become associated with Macromedia files for some reason, I have uninstalled all the Macramedia progs on my computer and even tried reinstalling Pro Pack to try and re-associate the files but with no joy. The PS2 and RSR files look like they become unassociated too? Can anyone shed any light on how to get things back to normal? Thanks, Alan.

Poser4/ProPack has a limit on the number of folders it can have in the library. I believe the limit is something around 256(?) for each library. But even just before you reach the limit, Poser sometimes gets cranky and won't show the thumbnails.

Just because your files are associated with another program doesn't mean they stop being recognized by another. Your .png's should be associated with Macromedia, or whatever graphics program you use because they're images ment to be edited in graphic programs. Sounds like you may have hit the 256 folder limit.

Thanks for the advice, I forgot to mention I was using Pboost file management as well not sure if that alters things regarding library limits, I have deleted about thirty folders so far with no effect, but I will keep trimming down and hopefully it will work. Thanks again.
