I finished my first animations with p6. After all the horror stories I heard about P6 & Animation I was first very skeptical. But I havent any problem to finish the animations.

First Animation is with the new Giraffe from Silverkey (DAZ).
120 frames, 800x600 pixels, 1 IBL, 2 minutes render time per frame.

2nd Animation is more complex:
A full injected V3, texture by Danae, DM Spring Patio, Dynamic cloth Nerd3D, Shag Hair.
120 frames, 800x600 pixels, 1 IBL, 1 Spec light. 12 minutes render time per frame.

Hi Mazak, Just downloaded your two animations. Nice walk for Vickie, the perspective is good as she walks along the path. No shadows on the ground or surrounds. I was given to understand V3 does not function correctly on Poser walk generator. I think the dress moves realistically, don't you? That's a great giraffe, very interesting to see the AO. I had to use my Quicktime Pro to export the movie out of the file using Sorenson compression, this resulted in a larger .mov file, but smooth. The files I got from you did not play smoothly. I spent the weekend with Poser 6 doing animation, and like you did not have major problems. Salute and thanks for posting your work. ::::: Opera ::::

Quicktime did not like my animations much. I use Windows Media Player or Winamp. I use Nerds V3 Walk designer add-on in P6. Mazak

V3 doesn't work with the standard walk cycles in the walk designer, but with custom walk cycles like that from Nerd it works fine.

Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.

A quick note: Right now, if you buy one of the 99 cent Poserpros specials that they're running each day this month, it entitles you to a buy-one-get-one-free bonus. And one of the bonus freebies is Nerd's Walk Designer for M3 (which, I believe, also works with V3). It's worth the 99 cent purchase just to get it. -jjsemp

Mazak, did you use "Walk on Surface" python script for that animation of V3? It helps to stop the slight movement of the foot after it is placed on the ground.

Thank you all :) I use the 'Walk This Way' python script by SVDL for my walk animations. You can find more anims on my website. Mazak
