Subject: Phtoshop Textures Files for 3D

How can I use my Macintosh Texture Files made in Photohsop for models in other programs like Bryce 5? I couldn't find the needed file formats when saving. Is there a converter, plug-in, or other software needed so my models can be wrapped in the textures I make? Thank you for your help!

In photoshop you can save files in a lot of ways. Just try save as... and see what's in the list. Pict, bmp and jpg all work in Bryce and most other programs like that (.psd and tiff often do too). In Bryce you import them as a map, not as a shader of some sort. Good luck!

While in Bryce, under the edit menu, where it is a texture library, I tried to import my files but it would not highlight any jpg, bmp, or pict files as choices.

I think they know how to do it in the Bryce Forum. Good luck!
