Note that the specific list applies only to federal trademarks, not to localities, which also have the capability (inclusive of city, county, and state, depending on the location) of providing trademarks that are honored under the same law.

I hope that it's nothing like doing a patent search.....a patent search requires a lawyer and many 1,000's of dollars to accomplish. It's not easy to afford for an "in-my-garage" type of inventor.

As stated above. Is there a legal/government site where one can check to see if a product name has been trademarked etc. TIA
