Hi, It's me again and i have what i THINK will be a quick question. Ok so i've made some archery props and 2 of the items have morphs. I've made the items smart props and the morphs are included in the pp2. Do i need to put the obj's for the morph in with the package? or is it not nessecary since they are in the pp2? basically i'm trying to avoid putting unnessecary junk files in my free stuff packages.

You would only need to include the .obj if the .pp2 file calls it externally - if the geometry is included in the .pp2 then no, you don't need to add the .obj as well. Thank you for considering the file size :-)

Morph OBJs don't need to be in the package at all. Ditto what Karen said about the unnecessary junk. :)

thanks .. unfortunatly.. it doesn't help as much as i hopped. The package is still 10 megs .. a big chunk of that is the quiver. it's 15 megs because of the 8 morph targets to make it fit 8 diffrent figures. But at least the unessecary junk is gone!

Why not offer the 8 specialised morph targets as separate downloads; or in pairs (vicki & stephanie, david & mike, etc). Seems like a win for all. Just a thought.

mostly because i've already made the prop , released it and deleted the obj's i didn't need before you mentioned that ..
