You're all very welcome and I hope I put the files in all the right places. As we all know, Poser 6 is still a bit on the "quirky" side and I was a little hesitant about releasing this before the "update". If you find some time, I would appreciate any feedback on how it is working for you. Thanks, Kirwyn
(Poser 6, PC only) I would just like to point out that with Poser 6 and standard Poser Files, there is now no "PC only". I realise you meant not tested on a Mac, but it's a bit like saying "Women only" as it was only tested by women;-) This works fine with no changes on Mac OSX with Poser 6. Feel Free to now include the words: For Poser 6, OSX Ready, Tested by kaveman. Great product, great learning, thanks. PS Anyone wants products tested on OSX feel free to contact me;-)
I must be dumb but I can't seem to make the hair fit Jessi ;o( I followed the instructions in the tutorial text file but it doesn't work for me. Can someone help please? France

Thank you kirwyn to share this great gift.
Please, allow me a question as I'm trying to follow and understand what you have done. In your scalp surface, in the top front, there are 10 faces varying from 6 to 10 nodes. When populated with hairs, they became more dense than the rest, btw, very appropriated.
The question is about those faces with more than 4 nodes - why use them instead a more dense mesh of "standard" 4-nodes faces ?
Thank you

Coming soon to the "Freebie" section: "Genesis Hair for Jessi". (Poser 6, PC only) Once considered for an upcoming product, I've decided instead to give "Genesis Hair for Jessi" to the Poser Community for free. It is a small repayment for all the "freebies" I have downloaded from so many generous people. I can't thank enough artists like lululee and randym77 and all the others who bought my "Genesis Hair 2" product and helped to make it a success. I hope that this "freebie" demonstrates the same power and realism which can be achieved with dynamic hair without having to wait an "eternity" for simulation and rendering. Always looking for ways to improve, I have added a "second layer" of hair to the Jessi proxy figure. Although, this is unnecessary for full-figure animation and full-figure stills (it can be made invisible in the Hierarchy Editor), it can be used to great effect for close-ups. By varying the position parameters, hair densities and qualities, and color textures of the two hair layers, one can now find many more ways to customize the hair to achieve that special look. "Genesis Hair for Jessi" includes proxy figure, 2 scullcaps with 2 layers of hair, animated walk cycle, tutorial and instructions. Just unzip it to your Poser 6; find the "Genesis Hair for Jessi Tutorial" in your Runtime Folder, and follow the instructions. You can download now at the link:
