Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 20 11:41 am)
A lot of shoes come with morphs to make the feet fit. For example, Jim Burton's "Day Life Shoe Set" has an INJ pose supplied to morph Vicky's foot to accept the shoe. Poserworld does this with a lot of shoes, although the morphs are usually supplied as .obj files to be manually applied. Alternatively, some shoes are intended to be used with the toes and/or foot turned invisible. Check the readme for information. Does that help?

Yes thank you, it does. I have that shoe set but hadn't read the readme file... I need to start doing that. > Quote - I've found that sometimes a heavy engineering approach is required.
Phil, I almost spewed tea all over my laptop when I read that! LOL Love those shoes, but I don't think they go very well with the dress I'm working on, but I will download them for future use. They've given me some ideas :) > Quote - And then, of course, theres the barefoot look....its all the rage :)
LOL, I guess I'm not the only one who has trouble with shoes, hehe. Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. In the last two weeks I've decided that I've had enough "dress up dolly" and am trying to expand my knowledge where Poser is concerned so I've been trying new things, and going back to old things (IE: Shoes), that I couldn't or haven't done. There may be hope for me yet :)

Are there any around? I just can't get shoes to fit Vicky, no matter what I do. They are too short, bent, too narrow...or any number of other things, and turning dials hasn't worked for me. Even tailor hasn't helped me with getting shoes to fit. What are the trade secrets? How do you all get them to fit?
