Shot yesterday very near Zagreb, when I was returning from my field expedition. Olympus E-300 with the 100-400 mm lens.

One moral from the expedition: do not forget to pack a wider lens.

No artificial colouring added to the flowers. :-) You wouldn't believe how such fields look in cloudy weather.

A postworked photo of the field is in my gallery, but it was to darken the sky and increase the saturation on the forest. Love the "Zabriskie Point" feel of the pic, if you're old enough or a film buff enough to know about the movie. :-)

Rape field in the gallery.

Yeah, anything yellow applies: flowers, plastic, paint, traffic signs, wrappers, anything...

Great yellows everyone. I've got a nutty schedule too, but managed to wrangle up these images. On top, a drain from a train station in Sebring FL, a yellow shrip plant from my in-law's house, and some of my YELLO cds. A great group...probably best know for their 80's hit, "Oh Yeah". :)
