Subject: Is there a way to turn a p5 material into a texture?

I really like the look of this p5 material. Unfortunately, when I apply it to the model the emblem isn't centred. I'm thinking that the best way to do it would be to map it as texture for the model. Does anyone know of a way of getting from a material to a texure map?

anxcon asked this question recently, check this out. you can also tweak the u & v locations (offsets)in your node.
