Subject: Changing colors in P6

Jessi has a red skirt in P6. How can I change the color from red to white and still keep the same texture in the materials room?

Ok here is a image from a previous forum member that shows how to change hair colour without going into photoshop, and this would probably work with the skirt too....

Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.

Here's another approach ....

Thanks. I'll try them both.

Right-click within the workspace. From the popup menu, select:

New Node --> Math --> hsv

or

New Node --> Math --> component

or

New Node --> Math --> color_math

Then connect them as shown above.

Chapter 34 of your reference manual should explain the Material Room interface and how to work with nodes in further detail. Chapter 35 briefly describes the purpose of each node.

Right click anywhere on the space below the Image Map box, and select the corresponding node then click and drag the plug node to attach it where you want. Like Little Dragon has explained... You can play around with these settings to see what other strange and wonderfull things happen.... like with the new Gather node... ohh what fun....
