I made some shots of tulips in the process of withering. Out of old habit I posted one in 2D gallery, maybe I should have put it in Photo gallery instead, even if I have made some postwork in PSP. Here is another one. I don't get so many good shots yet with my Minolta, I have great difficulties to get the focus at the right spot, most of the photos are blurry. I guess I am too impatient, life is easier with my Digital Ixus, but the Minolta is a challenge for me, I have to learn :-)

Love the texture, I can almost feel these.

Why would you not think to put this in the photo gallery. Many of us do some texture to a photo. I do watercolour sometimes. I like this and will move it into photo if you like.

Yes, thanks, if you think it fits better there.

The textures on those came out beautifully - super lighting. Just a thought you do have your Minolta set to: 'Focus = Continuous' in the main menu. If not change it to that it will mean the camera focuses while you are composing the shot so will be much quicker in getting the focus when you start to shoot.

Thanks, I will try that, sounds reasonable.

It's in the photography section now.

I have seen some of your amazing and beautiful art works in 2D...it scares me to upload stuff there cuz i am so amature in comparison to you and a few other masters. But that's ok...I'll not let you and those other skilled artists intimidate the likes of me! lol. So...I hopefully shall be "back" @ 2D sometime here. It is a nice gallery..:-) This one does very much look as if it belongs in the Photo Gallery...very beautiful photo :-) -Jeff :-)

Please don't hesitate to upload to 2D, no one will bite you :-) You have a great material to work from!

You are too kind...TY :-) Now I have warm fuzzies...But are you sure no one will bite me? That might be fun...maybe not...:-) Regardless, I must be brave, and will try to upload something 2 2D hopefully sooner than later....:-) Have a good one/peace -Jeff
