Hold down your space bar, click on an "area" of bryce, and move it over to your second monitor. "area" = the bank of arrows and trackball to change your camera, the Create, Edit icons, etc. AS

Also; I don't have dual monitors myself, but from what I have heard, in Bryce 5.0, once you shut the program down, and re-start it, all the menus snapped back to their default placement. ;o( I don't believe that has been changed as of yet in 5.5, but I'm not for sure. Maybe you could check it out for us? AS

What if you saved that modifed GUI layout as a default.br5 scene? Would that have any effect (since the saved scenes do seem to keep some gui data in them - i.e. working psace sizes and things)?

Ooooooo....GOOD question. Have no idea, lol. (it doesn't work on a single monitor set-up, I just tried it) Worth a shot, though. AS

nope, the layout window is still stuck in the center and split between the two monitors...I guess bryce 5.5 still doesn't have dual monitor support.

I would prolly buy B5.5 for dual monitor support alone, would probably be the best feature for those with dual like myself as Photoshop for example works like a dream... maybe later on down the road this could be another fix or update!

Strange, I've read of somebody sucessfully using dual monitors with Bryce 5.0...although like mentioned the menus would snap back after closing, they could still at least set it up and use it. I'll have to search to find that thread here, see if I was misunderstanding. AS

Yes AS... it works well, but I would like for all the menues and interfaces to stay there for the next time you open bryce rather than go back to the primary screen again!!
