Well, when I combine a figure with it's clothing sometimes parts of the nude figure must be cut away so it doesn't poke through. I use UVmapper for this. I select the section of mesh I want to get rid of and assign it to a group called "Junk". In compose I delete the "Junk" group and import the clothing figure in on top the nude figure. That way they are combined. I edit the OBJ references in the figure CR2 to point to my new combined OBJ and with a few adjustments it's ready to go. There's alot more to this, but that's the quick version.

I have been looking at Craig Burton's tremendous demonstrations of the PPP (I hope that Curious Labs has or is considering compensating him for those - http://clabs.3dprotagonist.com/). While watching the demos of the Setup Room Basics and Setup Room Primitive Figure a question came to mind. Could the PPP be used to easily merge two figures together? For example let's say I am placing a running shoe on Vicki's foot. Could I use PPP to combine her foot and the shoe so that they become one? If so then when I click in the foot/shoe region I would always get the part I want to pose (foot). In addition, would that help me to reduce the final figure footprint because the foot and shoe would become one? If I did it with other articles of clothing (skirt, blouse, hair) would that be benificial?
