A massive volunteer effort by artists all over the world, produced by panicstruck productions. Its is arguable the best Star Wars fan film ever made. The 3D models and special effects rival that of big budget Sci Fi. My only criticism would be the acting, Oy-vay. Its reminiscent of people doing bad impressions of Capt. Kirk. But its a hoot. If you haven't already, check it out.

Yeah, only problem with fan films, is the fans insist on being IN them, lol. But, yeah, definitely one of the , if not THE best fan fil yet! I downloaded the 250mb version last week. AS

You get what you pay for. I liked it. The effects are great. Kromekat's ships are fantastic. I noticed MrDodobirds bits too. For the budget and the restraints, it's amazing that it's so polished. As for the acting, Star Wars (especially the latest batch) are all a bit over dramatic. I thought they did a good job. And no Jar-Jar!! Which makes it alright in my book. I await Revelations II.

Loved it. Took several days and downloaded the dvd versions. The visual effects are outstanding.

YES no Jar-Jar Saw this for the first time about a week? ago. The graphics are great but what makes it stand out just as much as the graphics is the music. The music is simply stupendous!!! Especially during that chase through the shipyards. Superb! Also I wish they had made the Emperor's Hand a little bit more beautiful. Ugly bad guys are so cliche (well, so is the beautiful but deadly vixen). And the acting is terrible, the only decent actor in the whole thing is her friend (the first male main character you see, forget his name at the moment). Yep, it's almost as good graphics as the new movies (although Episode III looks really really cool!). 5/5 stars in my book.

Glad you guys liked it! ;) It is very unlikely that we will do a Revelations II - the first took 3 years and a HUGE amount of effort with only the experience, and accolade/hype etc for reward (which is undoubtedly great! - but soon dies down, and doesn't help pay the bills unfortunately!:) ) Besides, the story leads into ANH, there isn't much room or need for more at that juncture in SW history. I stand by it as a fantastic experience from beginning to end, from which I made a load of new contacts and friends, and gathered a whole heap of new knowledge and inspiration for future endeavours!, and the final item isn't bad at all, despite weaknesses in some departments :)

Isn't there a contest that you could have entered, sponsered by Lucas or some such, where there is money given according to viewings and such? I think that the article is still on the R'osity homepage... not a doubt in my mind Revelations would have made first place easily. Maybe it's just too long. =) Anyhow, outstanding job, especially from you kromekat and whoever did the music. =)

Thanks shinyary2! - Atom films hosts the annual fan film awards, but it's only for parodies/comic entries - not serious Stwar Wars stories unfortunately, plus as you say, it would be too long anyway. I think the Producer is putting it in for some other competition soon though! :)
