Hi, folks!

Heres my new WIP, The Curupira. Its a indian-native legend, about a jungle protector, who makes bad things for evil hunters and tree extractors. His feets are turned back to confuse those people who try follow his footprints in the forest. The Curupira rides on the back of a mystical "cateto", some kind of brazilian razorback, for all the jungle.

Thanks!

Nice work... Either there's some really good lighting on the geometry of his abs and pecs, or you did some really nice texturing work as well on the topology of his body... Nice 3d aura (or is it glare?) on the hair there, original usage, maybe put some on the razorback's eyes. ;)

Thanks, Sardtok! Cool idea the aura at the catetos eyes. The geometry of the muscles you can see at the link above, in the wireframe version. Bye!

Great character model are there any animaations planned with it?

The wit of a misplaced ex-patriot.
I cheated on my metaphysics exam by looking into the soul of the person next to me.

Wonderful Character design there, Noviski! I really get the feeling that there's some history to that character (the actual myths notwithstanding) that helps make him real to me. I really like how the muscles are depicted (as somebody else pointed out). I especially like the "Popeye" forearms. About the only thing that leaps out to me is how the palm area just seems to have a groove between the heel of the hand and the base of the thumb at the palm. It would look better, imho, if there were more curvature in the thumb-base area. Looking at a hand, there's a " depression between the pinky-heel of the palm and the thumb-base of the palm, especially when the thumb and pinky are touching Overall, great job. Are you planning on animating it?

Thanks, steama. Im trying to make some texture work now, very soon more ups here. Im glad you like it, Dann-O. In fact, its a project I have in mind about a Multimedia CD (with animations, games and activities for children), about the brazilian legends. Thank you MrMongo, for the nice hints. Hands, feets and ears are my week point on 3D modelling. The palm is a little flat too, Im try to fix it. And, as I say to Dann-O, a little animation could be done. Thank you all for the comments!
