I think that 1024x768 is pretty much standard unless you are stuck with a very very old 15" screen. Think of the resolution this way.....the larger it is, the smaller the text appears and the more clear an image is. However, you can get to a point where it distorts because the res is so high. Guess what I'm saying is that you've got a good setting.
"...would be best to render at..." You can render at a different setting than your viewing screen. Some people like to render at a high resolution 2000x2000 or higher and then reduce the image in a paint program to whatever final size they want. This supposedly provides a sharper image. In Poser 4 it's 'Render to new window' or something similar -- not sure about 5 & 6.

I run at 1600x1200 (20" monitor) and use the "large fonts" setting in windows. It keeps most of the text pretty legible, but not all programs (such as Poser, ahem!) check for that, so somethings they're dialogs get a little funky in places. But yeah, you can render to just about any resolution you want via rendering to a new window. Just ctrl-Y for the render settings.

Hi, I was just wondering what screen resolution would be best to render at and as an all rounder...I'm currently viewing at 1024x768..I have higher settings but have noticed text actually gets harder to readas the resolution goes up. Blessings in advance DS
