You can do cartoon renders in Poser? runs off to try this
"It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
There are many ways to do cartoon renderings in Poser actually; Poser has a 'cartoon' mode that is often a good start. I've written two tutorials on this type of thing (three if you count this last one) and they're all in the Tutorials section here. For Poser users: This tutorial might work for you if P5/P6 allows you to set Ambient and Specular settings for all objects in the scene. Use a regular infinite light (one should be enough) and see if you can get results similar to these. The postwork steps will obviously work on any type of render. :) Thanks, take care. SnowS

Hi. I hope the mods don't mind me mentioning this here, but I've finished a new tutorial for creating anime/cartoon images that I thought some of you might find interesting. It uses DAZ Studio, but it's possible that because of P5 and P6's expanded material room, it may be applicable to Poser users as well (I can't test it with those, I only have P4). At any rate, it uses Poser figures, and those who enjoyed my Z-Toon method should like this one too. :) The tutorial is posted here on Renderosity in the Tutorials section. Here is a direct link to the printer-friendly version. http://www.renderosity.com/tut.ez?Printable=922 Thank you very much, and feel free to let me know if you have any questions or comments! Take care. SnowSmy DeviantArt page: http://snowsultan.deviantart.com/
