Hello, I wanted to upload something in the free stuff but I cannot manage to find a hos. Everytime, when I try the in the upload test page it doesn't work (I tried Libertysurf.fr, Geocity, AngelFire, Homestead...) Could someone tell me what to do, please :) Thanks a lot Ab

do you have a free website with your isp? lots of people overlook that option, but you ususally get 5 or 10 megs to use for a site when you sign up and it's free. Marque

Thanks a lot for your answer :) Yes, you're riht my provider give me a free room for me to build a page the only problem is that I cannot redirect to it. I mean, I can give you an adress and if you type it in your explorer you'll be able to get the file but if I try to put this adress in the redirector of renderosity you get a "oups, this member page doesn't exist" :( That become more and more curent now. Before, I used Angel-fire but it doesn't work anymore :(. Anyway, thanks to have take the time to answer me :):):) Ab

what do you mean by re-direct, do you mean just having the url with the zip file at the end like this? www.myhost.com/abcd/test.zip I would just tell people where they have to go to get it in that case, if you have the pic and they really want the item they will go get it. I put a new homestead site up last week and it worked fine for me. I see in the forums that a lot of sites appear to be inconsistent in their support. I know at homestead, I had to reference my individual /files/*.zip page. Are you sure the URL was set the way you want it?

(Sorry, I'm a poor little frenchy and have sometime difficulties :)) I have also tried with homestead but for me it seems it doesn't work :( If you have an idea of what I may have done wrong... In the Upload script, you need to provide the right URL. I had a little trouble figuring out how to do that, but I finally got it. My string for the data file, for example, looks like: http://joeyb.homestead.com/files/flateyebrows.zip and the thumbnail: http://joeyb.homestead.com/files/Morph_After_pic.jpg Hope that helps!
