Hey everyone. Im looking for two links I thought you guys might be able to help with. First, just a generic list or database of software, general. 2nd, Im looking for a good zoom, image program that will help me increase the size of, and zoom in on small sections of images and assist in clariying as the pixels stretch. Any ideas ? As always, thanks in advance for your help. Hope your all well.

I did not get your first question ??? Second one, well, there is really nothing ground-braking in digital/analog zooming tehniques, cuz you simply cannot get more detail out of nothing :D How you can clarify something which did not existed in the first place ??? It can be nicely interpolated, and some high end packages do involve fractal systems to approximate, but that is all, no real detail, just someting based of original ! :D Forgot which software it was, I'm sure someone is gonna come up with the name and a link ! :D

Thanks for stopping by Kemal. The first question relates to a comprehensive list of all (or a good range) of existing software on the market, all types. Just a list that I can look through and think,"oh, that sounds good and interesting worth looking at". Just a list of all kinds of software. I was unsure about zoom/ enhancement technology but had a hunch what you said about it would be the case. Id love it if someone could think of the name of the program you mentioned.

Try this site for 3D Links: http://www.3dlinks.com/ There was an app called LivePix that used fractals to upscale images but that appears to be discontinued. This app used to be called Live Picture when it was at MetaCreations (it's also the app that was largely responsible for MC's collapase)

hmm..I use MS Access to categorize mine (19,700+ entries, almost 3,000 unique items..;), but I'm sure there's tons of free stuff out there. Try the following
http://www.nonags.com
http://www.shareware.com
http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/alchemy.html (nagware, but the full version may do more stuff than the shareware
http://www.gimp.org/ (sort of a freebie Photoshop. Have it, but haven't loaded it, it may do what you want)
check 'em out, there should be something like what you want in all this..;)

I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit
