*Pokes head in and looks around* Hmmmm ... looks safe enough. :) Thought it would be easier to answer/respond here. This is for comments from the above photo (gallery link above too).Zacko - Didn't blur out the background, that's all in camera (shallow depth of field caused by focal length and aperture). In the thousands of shots I've taken, I've probably used PS to blur the background maybe 5 times.
The only thing I did to this image in PS is to take care of a few skin blemishes with the healing brush, knock down a couple of highlights I didn't like, add a contrast enhancing s-curve and then added the cross-processing curve.
'chelle - I don't even remember where I got them. I looked at my bookmarks and -maybe- I got them from http://www.nyphotographics.com/ftppage.htm, but not sure. Their curves have the same names as mine, but they only have 4 and I have 6. Mine may be different, I may have made my own or or I may have added my own to theirs. Can't really remember. That's a good page, btw. Setup like crap, but a good page none-the-less. You can download the curves at the bottom of the page.
Jinx - My website is at www.dmholman.com and there's a link to my LiveJournal there (where I put up random shots and stuff I am currently working on or I'm about to work on).
