I have Photoshop 6 which i purchased with the design package. My problem is that every time i open up Photoshop it tries to go online and get new files. It doesn't always succeed and when it doesn't get the files it hangs up loading for a long loong loong time. Or if i am offline then it hangs up hella long time. Frustrating. How do i shut this feature off? anyone please help!!! I have mac G4 with lots of ram

Hey Ghostwriter, you can shut it off (or change the frequency of launch) within the "preferences" just go to the EDIT (1) then down to PREFERENCES (2) scroll all the way to the bottom and select the ADOBE ONLINE option (3) and a dialog window will pop-up letting choose from the drop-down menu (4). You can choose One Month, One Week, Every Day or (my favorite) **Never**.

hope it helps,
:)
