Yes, I finally got Vicky. Very nice posability, though Eve at Morphworld poses a little better. I think Vicki was based on Eve considering Eve came out first. Anyway, When I first loaded her I was a little alarmed at the texture. Not that it isn't a very good texture, but I prefer much more colorful faces as many of you know. And I wanted to thank everyone for making my store so successful. I actually quit my job as a result. I have decided to make Poser products full time. Not an easy decision, but a fun one. Eventually I will be making products for other software packages as well, but Poser is just so much fun. I always liked women with almond shaped eyes and heart shaped faces like Yvonne Craig(Batgirl) and Barbara Eden(Jeanie). They influence my maps the most I think. These are all painted, no scans. They are amongst my favorites, especially the Brunette. It's amazing what textures can do on their own. The skin has a glow partly because of the texture but when I made Joy I discovered that if you set the highlight color of the skin areas to a very dark flesh brown with highlights at 100%, when rendered the skin becomes more three dimensional. Only recently did I realize that setting the skin highlights to black at 0% is a mistake. I didn't really morph the face too much. Just default morphs to round the cheeks and soften the jaw a bit. I just opened her Friday and haven't had much time to experiment, but I know all of you have. You all probably by now have huge face libraries full of settings. So if you make any cool faces with these please send me a copy of the render. With all my stuff that's out there now, I seldom get to see any renders. :( They should be up it FreeStuff in a few hours. Enjoy. Thanks for the textures. Congratulations on being able to "retire" from the 9to5. I'm working at doing the same thing. Nothing to do with computers, though.

LOL. No, now I just work from 7 to 7.

Nice texture Anton! Here is texture 1 on my charater Tasha. I also find BBay to be a hassle. I was all set to get Trav's stockings for Vickie, but my credit card was not verified, so I did not make the purchase. I find the policy to be a hassle, because I may use a credit card for one purchase and my check card for another. To catch scammers, BBay should do what other sites do -- record the IP address.

I agree with you, milamber42. BBays credit card verification policy is a hassle. Something similar happened to me. They have many items Im interested in, but I havent bought them (and Im not gonna buy them unless they change that policy) because of that. I use my credit card in many other sites and never had a problem. Everythings easier and faster. Well, and thanks Anton for the textures. I havent tried them yet but Ill send you my renders when I do.

I really like the ambient setting to the eyes. What color did you set the skin to for that color? Grey? Getting verified. It's just that simple. :) http://www.bbay.com/cfwebstore/pages.cfm?ID=22

Sorry, Anton. Lets begin again. :) Thanks for the textures AND the other stuff I got from you over time. Heh. I probably got everything you released, I think. I drool over your other stuff! Greywolf

Anton, I used a tan color R-224, G-171, B-137. The highlight and ambient colors are set to black, with white for the reflective. I need to play with the colors more to get a more natural look.

Try what I suggested in the first part of this tread about the highlight color.

Now that you have vicki will we be seeing some clothes and hair for her? :) That would be awsome! I buy one thing from you every payday. LOL. I am working on getting the everybed, that may take 2 paydays to swing. The quality of your items is outstanding.

Is there a problem with this file in the Free Stuff? I've been trying to download it, and it won't work...

Anton_Kisiel ( ) posted Thu, 08 February 2001 at 12:03 AM

Should be fine. Usually server things. If you have another browser try using it instead or wait alittle while. Could be bbay, could be yourISP, who knows. But it's been fine so far. Thanks spudgrl, don't be suprised if you do very soon. :)

Thanks, Anton- I just downloaded it with no problems. (You do great work, by the way! Your fantasy figures/props at bbay are wonderful- keep them coming!)
