Is there any way, I can access my P4 Runtime folders with P6 Runtimes? Somebody did this for me before but I had trouble with Windows XP and lost it.

Keep double-clicking on the Up a level icon in your library palette, until you get to the Runtime list (it will show Poser 6 and Downloads if you haven't added any yourself). Click the new item + button and you will get a standrad file dialogue - find your Poser 4 folder and with it selected (but not opened) click the OK/Open/Select (can't recall the exact label) button.

Is it just me that has the following problem? I have no problem with the Library structure in P6 and am using multiple runtimes (everything sorted into categories). But.. if I link to my Poser 4 runtime for example, while it gives me full access to all my P4 folders... it constantly aks for geometries, texture locations etc. It looks like P6 is looking for them in it's own P6 geometries and textures folders. At the moment, I am reinstalling everything I have as clean installs into P6, then... just dragging the cr2s, poses, etc., into their individual category runtimes. Then.. it works like a dream with the multiple runtimes, because all the geometries and textures for all the different runtime categories are in the main P6 geometries and textures folder. Eventually... I will be able to keep my P4 Runtime just for PPP and will no longer need to acces it from P6.

I had no problems at all. Works beautifully!

I get this ziggie so for better or worse I set all my paths to absolute using PoserFileOrganizer from the Market Place. All good now.

Poser 6 reads my Poser 4 Runtime OK - I wonder what the difference is?

I've yet to use multiple runtimes but doesn't Dr Geep deserve a thank you?
