Fern made with the help of kemal(for textures),Strawberry patch made with the help of chohole(for the texture).Hosting generously provided by Draculaz(send babies via mail in plain cardboard box). So...does anyone think they would use tree trunk models?

Well, danamo just gave me a leaf texture recently....so that one is going to be made into a plant model soon.I was also planning on doing a 1-2year old tree as well(like a 4-5 foot one with a few branchs). And some tall tree tunks for the foreground of a scene, and maybe a few fallen trees and a stump...I don't know yet.I will probably do a few shadow maps with the tree trucks...so when there is light from above the light will shine through the shadow map and make it appear as if there are leaves up above in the tops of the tree trunks.Mostly every thing to make a good forest scene with as little amount of ram hogging as possible...unless you want thousands of plants to hog the ram...because it would look real cool.

Terrific stuff TwistedBolt! I'd like to give a big thanks to both you and his Dracness for making these available.
I'm looking forward to the other stuff too.

Very nice stuff, I for one would definitely have a use for a tree trunk or so, as well as the forest scene you describe. Hey, I have a lovely glade at the bottom of my garden, I could take a photo of it if you like. I have been wondering how I could use it, it's so lovely, a nymph would look great in there...

Thanks for the comments on the image....I don't normally like to post too many of this type of images in the bryce forum, I do them for my little gd (she says with tongue in cheek!). That Glade sounds fascinating Fran, would love to see a photo.

Definitely the ideal habitat for wood nymphs and other assorted fae. You are lucky having that at the bottom of your garden.

Yeah, nice init. The acers (and almost everything else but the biggest trees) were planted by Mum. It's really her garden, I just happen to be lucky enough to live here too. Oh, she did plant a eucalyptus though; that's now absolutely massive, and hangs over the lawn - horizontally - seems they do that in Australia. gggg
