Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 14 4:48 pm)
No, that won't work ... nothing to my knowledge does. I have been posting this question to the Poser forum for some time now and no one can come up with a solution. I think most of the people don't realize the problem because they're doing stills and not animations. I've tried everything ... one light, increasing shadow map size, making sure lights are not animating, using different codecs, etc. NOTHING WORKS. Poser just really stinks in the shadow department I guess. Check out my previous posts for a little more insight and things that have been suggested. Do a search for keyword shadow, my username is of course "timoteo1". Also, just in case you notice this in the future too ... the Walk Designer isn't worth crap either. Do anything but the standard walk and you'll get "leg spazzing" galore. No one has posted a solution to this as well. Again, most of people on here are NOT animators. -Tim

Does anyone else have problems with rapidly flickering shadows in rendered animations? I have increased the shadow map size for all the lights to 1024. Does it need to be increased even more? Is there another cause for this?--it almost makes the animations useless. Thanks
