Thank you all, I am glad you like it :) @ PapaBlueMarlin First delete all lights. Add a new pure white infinite light. Place the light behind the object and somewhat above of it. (See the picture) Render with firefly mode. I hope it helps you :) Mazak

I have tried it with your material mat and lighting from above...is there anything else I should be doing? Mine doesn't even look close to your render...Yours look so nice.

Nice looking :) --Rebekah--

Awesome! amberlover, maybe try it with a spot light instead of infinite. I've never had any luck with infinites and the FastScatter node.

Not to sound totally lame, but is the FastScatter node something I need to set up? And if so, how? I'm working in P6 and I've never worked with it before.

KDoug ( ) posted Fri, 20 May 2005 at 7:14 PM

I think you overdid it on the cockroach, Mazak, but otherwise, they look great! Good work.

face_off ( ) posted Fri, 20 May 2005 at 7:17 PM

amberlover, the FastScatter node is in the materials from the zip file that Mazak provided.

No... I can't fastscatter every critter in the Poser world (I do not have all). But I can show you how to do it! Follow the link to a mini tutorial I have created. I hope it helps you :) Mazak
