Yeah,it's for building games. Very Easy to use. Check the top of the Site and Click Demos

Yep... Lets see what can be done with it... I downloaded and will check out when I have a day off again...

You can check out Flight Simulator 2004 for graphics about that level. That's what those screenshots remind me of. Frankly, I'm not impressed. I think I'll stick to learning the Unreal 2 engine. I've seen it do much cooler stuff(itching to play Unreal Championship) and it is also free.

yea I saw the screenshots but they don't tell which graphics specs it has. Which openGL, DirectX versions or such does it support, does it support AA, which texture resolutions does it support, what kinda shaders, does it do displacementmapping, normalmapping, bumpmapping, trilineair filtering, etc etc. can't find any such info on there? :-/

I'm sorry but Render and real time aint broken, the terrain textures look awefull where is the bump mapping? the trees look like 2D images pasted onto the scene and there is what looks like tearing in the sky. However for a free Game Engine its amazing!!! and I'm sure a lot of creative people out there will be able to produce amazing stuff with it.

Yo...This is Morfit... I played with this engine a few years ago and I got rid of it as soon as I got Unreal Tournament 2003 and its editor.. Sorry I will stay with Unreal Editor 2.5 and wait on V3.0...

BTW... Yes you have to Pay for the Unreal Tournament game to get the Unreal Editor but you can still make a full blown game useing everything that is Unreals Game,You just cant sell it unless you buy the license or you make it good enough to where EPIC wants to Buy it or Broker it...

Aye, but you get what you pay for, Foleypro! The Unreal engine is cheap, and worth every friggin penny. Unreal 2.5 and especially Unreal 3.0 are simply amazing, and make this "game creator" look like a pre-school toy in comparison... Farcry is simply breathtaking, as well. And the TES 4 - Oblivion engine is beautiful! (surpasses even Jessica Alba, in my book...) But I've already blathered about this all before, I'm sure you guys are sick of hearing about it. Can't wait for Unreal 3...
