OOOOH COOOOOOL P!!!! Such a clear shot, very impressive. You keep asking for advice, tips, tricks, opinions...so i hope you dont mind me giving you my 2 kronor. I would have liked it even more if you had went inside and ripped down that paper first. But one helluva cool shot nevertheless....GOOOOOOD MORNING BY THE WAY!!!! 6 am and im at work...woohoooo....sigh....

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Ah...London as it really is...good buzz Pascale, think that should be spelled Kensington :) like it lots;)

Onslow ( ) posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 4:30 AM

Nice reflections you captured there and great timing :) That is one of our much beloved London Routemaster buses soon to be gone :( They have been in service for more than 50yrs most of them but modern 21stC man cannot ride on a bus without fallng out of back so they have to be replaced with new buses that have doors on that close. :(

We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'

Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

cooool shot, would have been better if there wasn't paper in the window, but the composition and everything else can't be criticised. The picture in the shop below though does look very good as well. WHoops I notice that zacko has already mentioned the paper. Anyways, fantastic.

Cool Reflection...I have walked the South Kensington Streets (not for Trade)... and it brings back Memories :]

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 2:38 PM

Ah yes! That piece of paper was quite annoying indeed but nothing I could do about it unfortunately especially since the shop was closed! Cyn, U're not going to believe this, but I didn't even notice what that paper says!! And I can't believe I didn't see it!!! I was so focused on my shot! Man, I have to go back there!! O_o Jimbo, thx for the spelling!! Wasn't sure! Rich, I can't believe they're planning to replace these fabulous buses!! They're part of the London scenery! They can NOT do that!!! Thx a bunch guys for ur feedback on this one!! :)

LOL!!! Well, I never saw that happening but again I don't live in London so! And yes, those buses ARE England!!! And I believe u English people should go out there and protest against the slaughter of ur old beautiful red buses!! And I mean it!

jimry ( ) posted Sat, 21 May 2005 at 5:11 PM

the double deckers happen all over the UK...but i guess London has made them proud;)....understand they are to be auctioned off...got any bread anyone?

Onslow ( ) posted Sun, 22 May 2005 at 7:56 AM

They are auctioning them if anyone wants one. They are turning up in the oddest of places - I was in Helsinki last year and some were there doing tours of the city. They are a marvelous piece of engineering - specially designed for London streets. Reliability is second to none and completely unmatched by the newer buses which have a far worse breakdown record. They will still be able to be seen and photographed at the London Transport Museum in Covent Garden

Pascale...You live in England? Are you not French? If so does that make you a French-English?

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 23 May 2005 at 6:40 PM

No Jeff, it makes me a French-French! ;) I just live in England but was born and raised in France, my mother tongue and culture being French! ;) Hehe!

coolj001 ( ) posted Mon, 23 May 2005 at 7:06 PM

French-French? Cool...I bet you can cook some good gourmet food being so French. Thanks for the clarification, and I admire your English. :-)

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 23 May 2005 at 7:41 PM

:D Thxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx! As for cooking, hehe, no probs! My bf is also a Headchef and that's pretty cool too! Yummy! ;)

coolj001 ( ) posted Mon, 23 May 2005 at 7:58 PM

Sound cool indeed. I have no experience w/French cooking but I can cook some good Mexican food, and I'm not even Mexican. :-)

tibet2004uk ( ) posted Mon, 23 May 2005 at 8:52 PM

Oh! But...we can cook anything dear! I wasn't talking about French food especially here! We actually VERY rarely eat French food! Since the French are big meat eaters, there's not much for me there! I definitely prefer Indian food! ;)
