Subject: Saving characters and adding makeup

I created a character and I want to be able to save it in the way things are saved here as if I was planning to sell it (which I am not as I am just learning) so that when I periodically format my system I can add it without adding everything in the libraries. Any tutorials on how to do this? Also I have noticed that if I use a texture and then later add makeup from another character it changes the whole texture of the face which looks really odd, so anywhere that explains how to add makeup without changing the texture of the face? Oh and simple tutorials with lots of pictures please if at all possible. Fingers crossed hoping.

Hi there, I don't know which version of Poser you're using, but if you have Poser5 there is a Makeup maker in the freestuff here.Search for Anbuso. With this kit you can change the makeup in the materialroom.Be sure that the head texture you're using hasn't got a bump map plugged in the radiant bump node, because you get odd results then.

if you have poser4 or daz studio...then makeup must be painted in a apaint program on to the texture you wish to use...
