Subject: I lost my collections. Anybody know how to get them back?

I recently had a problem with V5 Infinite. I wasn't able to open any collections dialogs. No materials, plants, etc.. I wrote to tech support and they advised me to delete all the .env files in the environments folders. Great! After that I could open my dialogs, but they were all empty!
So does anybody know how to repopulate them?

Thanks
Mike

Try to delete the .prv files in the collection folders as well - maybe that helps. They are rebuilt when they don't exist.

Thanks, but I had already deleted those too. I got an answer from E-on tec support. They sent me a new collections.env file. I guess there is no easy way to repopulate the collections.

They send you a new collections.env? Why not using the original one from the CD? However, i am sure there is a reason for that. What i do is to back up the whole environment folder regularily. Especially when i do some major structural changes. So that i can go back when something goes wrong. AND - what happened in the past on Mac - to be able to have my settings back when an update puts Vue back to the delivery status. I learned my lesson from that!
