For those of you that downloaded Wood Workshop, Spiral Graphics has released Genetica 2. It's a little pricey, but they have a free demo. Looks pretty awesome, really. NB

Very cool, thanks. It looks superior to TextureMaker.

I've never used either of those. Here's a link to Flaming Pear's "Tessalation", which is the most powerful seamless-izer I've ever used... www.flamingpear.com

I bought the standard version of Genetica 2 yesterday. lordstormdragon, it's not really a program to take image files and make them seamless. It creates seamless textures. Think of it as a stand-alone DTE for photo textures. It comes with 500 presets that you can modify with noise, etc. You can weather the textures with scratches, etc. You can also layer the textures. My favorite so far is the "Cut and Tile" lab where you can easily create tiles out of any texture. I show two examples above. The program also enables you to extract channels for bump or specularity.

Looks pretty cool! I really like the strange tile on the right, of course... I'll have to check this one out. Part of becoming a better 3D artist is of course texturing, and one can never have too many tools in this department...

Here's another example of tiling.

What the hell is that Pro version all about, costs like entire Vue 5 ??? No thanks, even standard edittion is way too expencive, should be $50 for standard and 129 for Pro IMHO ! :D They suck :P

@Lordstormdragon- thanks for the link to that FlamingPear plug-in; it's a new one to me!

Jason: Why have you got a model of Ang in your render?

Bryster: Because a model of you isn't available. Kemal: It is quite spendy, but also very handy.

I bought it also, should come in handy...I've used some of my rust image textures and combined them with genetica's noise.....
