THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: Follwoing pidjy's footsteps

well, kinda following his footsteps anyways.

Here's my terrain work :) just made it last night to celebrate the fact that once again I owned them bitches at school who make life difficult by misplacing ultra-important assignments! YEAH!

Imagine; important essay for points that are needed to pass 1st year. All this while you're already a 2nd year student. Not passing 1st year this 2nd year means getting kicked outta school. Not staying within deadline equals failing essay, equals no points, equals no more study. Then suddenly deadline shifts from 31st of august to may 26th 17:00! And where do they hide this info that is of crucial importance to at least 7 2nd year students? That's right, in the 1st years students messages. But ofcourse! How could I have forgotten that? It's so logical that students who, from day one at the study are introduced to this "really handy" filter that filters away all messages that do not apply to your year of your study, turn this filter off and check the 1st years students messages just in case there's a 2nd years student message hidden in the totally wrong place! stupid stupid stupid! My logic is so inferior, it just cannot grasp the logic of the bigger picture that is undoubtably behind this decision of misplacing CRUCIAL information. sarcasm
But yea like I said, I owned them stupid college peeps again, I caught the message just in time and wrote an essay that I think is a disgrace if they fail me for it. Took me 4 sleepless nights but it's done.
I really couldn't afford the time it took me to make this terrain thingy, but I just needed to celebrate that I am not yet kicked outta school :P

Shape made in Illustrator and Photoshop, put on a lattice, textured and rendered in Bryce 5.01

In your attempt to stay up longer to accomplish this....Did you happen to drink LOTS of coffee or some other highly caffienated beverage? ;)

Good luck Rayraz, Get some rest now.

(Great mat on that terrain)

Indeed pidjy! There is some Tim Burton influence on this for sure! I made it from some shapes left over from my shape study's in design class earlier this year. My design teacher wanted me to look at Tim Burton for inspiration. He also loved this one pic I used in my moodboard with some old writing, I got a TON of inspiration from that one too :) ICM. I kept the coffee down to 2 mugs a day at max ;)

Very cool terrain, and I love the texture! We're proud of you dude for doing what you had to do when it was crunch time.

Awesome! Very creepy and I swear I can see deformed beings in it. :-D I'm so glad you got the assignment done.

This is so eerily cool, got to give that a try too. Agree with the cemetary or Bryce park theme. Maybe finish it when you've passed on to third year? :)

By the time I passed 3rd year I hope to be preparing to go study in the US or Australia :D
