It's been a while, but there are two new models by Gaetan now available on my site.

Thanks,

Always enjoy such great models and thank you. However, I notice most of these great models do not open well in Vue5 infinite. The clock has no face and the cars come out red. Not sure if this is something wrong on my end or design that way? Thx

Thats how I receive the models from Gaetan. The red is usually where Gaetan has used a procedural material and not included it in the final package, probably because it was a stock one from Vue.

In the above pic, I've used Belgareths metallic carpaint (available from Freestuff here or my site) applied to the body, stock Vue smoked glass to the windows and stock Vue chrome to all parts in the model with chrome in their name.

As to the clock the bitmap for the face is included in the download, you just need to point Vue to the correct path when it asks, or apply after import.

When these models are imported in to Vue 5 and 5 Infinite, uncheck the box that asks if you want to weld the model together this means that when it is imported, you will have access to all the parts of the model and can retexture any that seem wrong.

The best way to look at these models is that they generally require further work on the materials and textures to get the best out of them. I know this can be a chore and might not be what everyone expects from the model, but I guess thats why they are free and not $50.00+ at Turbosquid!!
