Great news. Nice to see Sixus1 teamed up with some real big hitters.
Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.
Just to confirm and and reiterate the announcement from Zygote, we at Sixus1 Media are teaming up with Zygote Media Group and E-Frontier to help spearhead the Open 3D Project and the advancement of open source human figures. We are very excited by the possibilities that users will find available through our concerted efforts in the Open 3D Project and by the spirit of innovation, creativity and freedom that this project represents. -Les Garner, Sixus1 Media

Hi there, The license has been posted in the Open 3D Project forum. The rest of the site and the figures will be available tomorrow sometime. Thanks for your interest.Attached Link: www.project-human.com
Preview images of the new Project Human Male and Female, both 100% open source under the OSCL (Open Source Content License) are up at www.project-human.com under the "Evolution Tree" with the figures to be officially available for download tomorrow. For those who may be wondering, www.project-human.com will be acting as an information and "tracking" site for the figures released through the Open 3D Project. The Evolution Tree section of the site catalogs not only the figures released, but as new iterations of figures are created and released, both by Open 3D Project partners and throughout the community, creators of these subsequent versions and variants are encouraged to notify us of their work so that it may then spawn a new branch in the "tree". Both commercial and noncommercial entries will be added to this listing as submissions are received and we hope to see this feature of the site come to reflect exactly what it's name implies: the organic evolution of human figures through arena of the on-line 3D community.
Thanks!
Les Garner

For those of you interested in the status of the Open3DProject we have had a turn of events that have strengthened the project but delayed our offering. In the spirit of cooperation, Sixus 1 Media has offered to combine the Project Human figures with the Zygote figures for this initiative.eFrontier and Zygote view this as a very positive event for the Open3DProject, allowing our organization to immediately have rigged figures available. The Zygote figures are lower resolution and when rigged will be complementary to the Project Human offerings.
We are now combining our views on licensing in order to fully roll this out to the community. The goal of the license is to allow complete freedom to utilize the 3d models in whatever personal or commercial project one would like to.
The conversation will continue this weekend, both here and on the Open 3D Project forum and we should have the license finalized and products ready to release on Tuesday. Thanks for your patience and support.
