Subject: A Very Newbie Question!

Hi, I am quite new to Poser. Do most of my modeling in Max instead. I have a few questions. A few clothes I bought off daz for V3, show up as figures in P6. How do I conform them onto my V3 figure(which I have already posed), without having to fix every tiny detail manually later. A very noob question I know, but plz provide links to tuts / other resources if possible. Thanks!

I believe you'll need to load them into the scene in which your V3 is and conform them to her :) In the drop down menu when you click on figure, there should be a conform to line. Make sure the clothes piece is selected and click on that and it should conform to V3 nicely. Hope this helps :)

Also be aware that if you've morphed your V3 character, the clothes may not fit anymore. I can't remember if there are morphs present in the set you mention but if there is, you will have to manually adjust the morphs on the clothing to match the morphs on V3. Alternatively make the underlying parts of V3 invisible (this is easiest done in the Hierachy Editor (Window -> Hierachy) - just click the little "eye" on the bodyparts you want to make invisible :o) Hope that helps :o)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Have a look at a couple of the Basic tuts for P6 - they will set you off in the right direction. Richard
