Subject: Question on Testing

Natolii ( ) posted Mon, 30 May 2005 at 3:01 PM · edited Sun, 02 February 2025 at 6:47 AM

Clint or anyone, When testing a female skin texture, does anyone look at anatomical placement of genitalia when checking if off as approved? Or is the criteria just look for technical flaws and nothing else? I have found at least 3 "human" skin textures that are anatomically incorrect when it comes to the physical location of the vulva on the hip. This alone is reason enough for me to not purchase from merchants if no one is paying attention to this detail. I do specify "human" due to the number of alien textures on the market and I am taking this into account.

"does anyone look at anatomical placement of genitalia when checking if off as approved?"

Thats not one of our testing criteria.

We check to make sure the product functions as advertised.
The testing team also checks other areas such as readme, license, ZIP file, etc

If you have a problem with a product please send the information to store@renderosity.com and Debbie M. will be more than happy to work with you as needed.

Maybe you misunderstood what I posted. You have at least 3 skin textures that have promo renders where the texture is what would be termed "defective." No living female has genitalia that high up on her hip not even me. I would like to know how something like that gets through testing? Isn't there some sort of quality standards in terms of textures? Honestly, I took nursing in school. I have a basic understanding of human anatomy. Are you telling me that this site is in the practice of selling items as "Realistic" when they are in fact not? This is an issue I am seeing more of and I am questioning how such a thing is allowed through testing.

"Isn't there some sort of quality standards in terms of textures?" Yes - We check for seams in regards to skin textures. If the promotional images show the texture as it is its up to the customer to decide if they want to purchase the product or not. Clint

Clint, So basically you are not at all adverse to selling something that is in essence defective (Seams aside...). And what if it was a merchant resource kit that had these textures? Are you content to sell inferior merchandise and "Let the buyer beware?" Take these questions as a concerned patron and beta tester.

If the promotional images show the texture as it is its up to the customer to decide if they want to purchase the product or not. What if the promotional renders only show the textures "flat" or in ways that don't show the details? Would a customer be able to get a refund? bonni
