I need help. I'm doing htis robe and the belt is giving me fits. I set the robe to collide polygon to polygon, and scaled the belt larger and back down as it was calculated. I'd like any suggestions as to either how to do it the way I'm doing it, or how to do it better. I also have to eventually put shoulder "armour" on the robe... which is rigid... :( Anyway, any help is appreciated.

mmmm there is a tut on dynamic clothing on e-frontier with a girl that is wrapped in a towel(?), maybe that could be a way to wrap the belt too...

still hooked to real life and enjoying the siesta!

The thing is that the belt isn't dynamic till after the robe is set up... maybe I should change that...?

Create seperate objects for the belt and robe. Constrain the area of the robe where the belt will land. Calculate the robe. Don't use any drape frames. If it needs drape, build it into the animation. Now add the belt to the scene be sure the robe is a collision object for the belt. You will probably want to constrain part of the belt, maybe all of it. If the belt has a dangly part leave it dynamic. Now calculate the belt. Nerd3D
