Subject: Plugins

Have read this a few times. And was wondering what plugins are and how to use them etc. Have no idea as i am just learning postwork. If you have time would love to learn. Chris:)

Plug ins are things you add to PSP or PS like filters. I have tons of them. All make much easier work of the postwork you do.
Most are free too.
One really good plug in is virtual photographer by optikVerve
If you decide to download any you copy the folder of the plugin to your Program Files>>Jasc Paint Shop Pro>>Plugins>> Filters. Same if you have Photoshop.In PSP sometimes you have to create the folder plugins.

A plugin is a program that is integrated into another application. The program 'plugs' into the application. Plugins provide additional functionality that isn't available in the application.

www.thepluginsite.com This place sends out a Plugin News Letter and is a mound of info for Free Plugins.

I would say that these one are the most usefull... There is also mediachance site that has free plugins as one for b&W conversion I guess and for noise issue in portrait ;-) Xero and virtual photographer are very good though!

This is a link to the free MezzoForce plug in for PS and PSP.It is mainy for distortion effects I use in framing. Cool plug in
