Since many countries and nationalities are respresented on 'Rosity, ever wonder how much time difference is between you and other posters?

Too much time on my hands tonight..two posts in a row. Forgive.. :)

The link goes to a time server and you can get your time relative to GMT there. I am -4hours, meaning that when GMT is 2:40AM Wed, here it is 10:40PM Tues..I think that is how it works.

Very poetic Tedz :) Me I am only a few secs from Greenwich where it all starts :P

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few,ย Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.

We in Sweden are GMT +2.00 ....arent we? I think so..

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I don't understand a thing to how this works!!! O_o RR says 20.48 CST (whatever that means) and on my clock it's 2.52am! That's all I know! And Teddy, I love ur way of seeing this...poetic, yes, indeed and very sci-fi too! ;)

TomDart ( ) posted Wed, 01 June 2005 at 9:01 PM

Pascale, doesn't matter but is neat to know how early or late some of your folks do postings! I suspect you are about +1 but who knows. Anyway, we are about 4 hours apart in time, give or take an hour. GMT is the standard time for all of us..then we are either east of it..ahead or + or to the west as I am, and -. So when it is 2 am there, I am behind 4 hours and it is only 10pm here. Confused enough? I AM! Outta here! Peace, kodak images lady. Tom.

TomDart ( ) posted Wed, 01 June 2005 at 9:20 PM

Ahh..low tide...let the rising tide bless you, friend! Flip in with the high tide and quarter moon. May the sand wash away from your shorts and shoes and we can talk in time, out of time, in time..yikes! Now, I am out of time. See ya. Tom.
