Subject: Cast prop
Thanks, that may be where I saw it. I have been surfing around varous sites and then after the fact find out I need something that I saw, LOL

I've also been searching for a casts and/or bandages (both arm and leg) for a project I'm working on. Any helpful suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone know if Ziggie's cast is the one that was used in the promo pics for OB's Forearm Crutches? (http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=30737) It may just be textured differently, but it looks to me more like the fiberglass type casts commonly used in the US whereas Ziggie's appears to be plaster with an alternate bandage texture. I have Ziggie's, but would prefer to locate a fiberglass cast if possible.
Oh yeah, almost forgot...any arm casts or bandages out there for sale or free?

I can't find anything at 3D Commune. I searched "Hospital" and "Cast" and don't come up with anything but castles. The one I'm thinking of isn't Ziggie's. I'm pretty sure the one I saw was a below the knee cast, and green.. though I could be wrong about the colour.

Acadia - Nope, you're right it's definitely green and I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same cast. Check out the link in my post above. Now, there's the one I would like to get my hands on. Perhaps one of us could send OB an IM to ask where we might find it?
I did a search at 3DC and the cast came right up for me. You have to be sure to use the search button located just above the box containing the search filters NOT the one at the top of the page near the store icon. (Did that make any sense?) The item is called P4 Fem Casts by Cooler.

Nope...still can't find it at 3D Commune. That site is way to confusing to maneuver around. The only way I can find anything is by accident. I've never once found anything by trying to search it out. I entered in the search bar, and I tried searching in free stuff. Nada. That green cast is the one I was looking for too.

LOL, I did that too. I either got castles and castle windows when searching for "Cast", or if I searched by upload date, ended up with 261 pages to look through.
EDIT: Found it finally! I entered "leg" and it showed up. Cast didn't work, neither did hospital. Thanks for the tips :) Now to just wait for a reply about the green cast :)

Ziggie - Bingo! They're both fiberglass and would suit the needs of my project perfectly. Soooooo.....when and where can I find them already! LOL, JK with the impatience bit, but I do love your work. This entire quest has been your doing, I'm actually looking for this prop to compliment a scene using your hospital room set.

P.S. I see that you've taken note of the new Medical theme section in the RMP. Here's hoping you feel the pressure, no um, I mean inspiration to create! wink

Acadia - Whoo-hoo, we scored! OK, I heard back from OB and here's the deal. The cast in question was made by him (or her? personally, I can't make any gender assumptions from a name like "OB"...could go either way really). It's going to be part of an upcoming props pack that will be available in the RMP soon.
"It's a 2-pack set, the basic pack is a conforming figure for arm and leg casts (long or short), the expansion pack connects 'em together into various frightening-looking hip, shoulder and body cast combinations. I'll probably ask about $10 for the base set and a bit more for the body-cast set."
