If any of the objects are Linked together then it wont export...If you used Bryce Textures it will not export with Bryce Textures unless you make the textures first as Jpegs or tiffs then apply in a Paint Program to the template...Then import the Texture thru the Picture editor to apply to your Model...
I'm not sure about the texturing, but the way to do it is select the model, click the 'E' button to bring up the edit dialogue, and press Ctrl+D.

Thanks Mahray, that did the trick. Foleypro, not sure what's wrong, no linking involved. In fact, it's just one solid object. Unfortunately, it kept the overall texture settings (i.e. diffusion and ambience colors and values) but lost the texture itself. Fiddlesticks! There goes the whole reason why I wanted to export it from Bryce in the first place. Now I'll have to go and play with the settings for hours in Poser to make it look the same.
hmm..don't know if this will help, I've only tried it once, but it seemed to work, sorta..;) Face the camera straight down. texture the plane, make a pic, and export it as jpeg. Then use that in another program. Of course, if you want more than one mat on an object, it gets tricky..;)

You can also get the textures out as pics if you apply them to a terrain and export the terrain. See the tutorial link above.pakled-- Trouble is, my texture isn't procedural. It's a uvmapped texture made entirely from bitmaps. jelisa-- Sounds great, except again my texture is made up of bitmaps. So wouldn't it just reexport the bitmaps I used for the image? What would be really ideal is if I could get it to export everything. I'm terrible with texturing in Poser, which is where it needs to be (because I want to try to sell the model on DAZ, and they just LOVE Poser lol). Trouble is, I've played with transparency, ambient, diffuse, and bump map settings. So it's a fairly complex tex, really. What I need to export are the settings for these channels, since I'm having trouble translating those settings in Poser. Anyhow, thanks everyone! =)
Ach, problem then. I've got my model looking okay in Poser with displacement maps. Maybe I should just provide render in Bryce to DAZ and no Poser renders, and let Poser people do what they do best and make my model look good in Poser. Obviously also provide texture templates, default texture(s), and maybe some ambience and bump maps, transparency maps, etc. That sort of thing...

I have a model I imported to Bryce5 as an obj. I did some texturing, and would now like to reexport it, but the export option in the file menu is grayed out. I've heard that there is a way to do this, and the FAQ says there is, but when I try to follow the link, it says ERROR, file not found (reminds me of Win95 lol). So, how do I do this, and will it include my texturing?
