Here is a trick: use user setting for rendering but load the ultra preset so you may pick it apart. Answer to #3 is yes and the answer to #4 is dependent on what looks good. In my view each project has its own needs. I do a test render to test the render settings and bulk the rendering settings up until I am satisfied.
It takes you right to the directory. If it shouldn't, they are in the environment directory.

Hey all, I just got my copy of Vue5 Infinite a few days ago and have been playing around with it a bit. I have some questions about rendering that I can't seem to figure out though. 1 - Is the Ultra settings for Infinite higher than the Ultra settings for Esprit? 2 - What ARE the settings for Ultra in Infinite? I can see the grayed out section of checkmarks, but can't get into the edit menus to find out. Ie. rays per pixel and quality setting. I'd like to use that as a base to set my user settings. 3 - If I uncheck the settings for motion blur, depth of field, etc, will that speed up my render times even if I didn't use those things in my image? 4 - I use vue in conjuction with Poser and would just like to know what render settings you all use for your final image. Ultra looks great...but takes eons to render. I was hoping to find a pretty comparable image, but maybe speed up the render time. Thanks... Dragonales
